Domi: very very underrated on here, yes, should be able to get a really good return (much better than most)
Mantha: he's just better he'd be at worst your second best forward (when healthy), and I hate Detroit

i wasnt suggesting 1 for 1 or anything
just i know MTL is interested in Mantha who's Grandfathers a Legacy player
but is DET interested in Domi ?

If so the deal would obviously lean towards DET favor .
i figured something like Domi , Ylonen,Norlinder(or Harris) and a 2nd for Mantha

DET gets quantity and quality while MTL gets the perfect RW to play between Gallagher and Armia in the top 9.
i think Suzuki would be the smart choice to push as his Center with Drouin on his wing . (mantha's old Qmjhl rival )

Domi's great but streaky like Paciorety was .
Mantha's consistent if not as productive at his high points
Domi beside Larkin and a slew of prospects to join their already deep prospect pool could work out

As a Detroit fan personally I rather have Mantha over Domi. Detroit hasn't had a true goal scorer since Franzen. Plus Domi very similar to Larkin who is the cornerstone of Detroit's rebuild. So Detroit needs a player with Mantha's skill set much more than some with Larkins skill set.

If Detroit gets the 1st pick in the draft i dont think a deal like that is out of the question. I domt think velano or Rass are a true #2 center and if you are adding Lafrenière its another winger. Moving mantha would hurt he pushes the play and is a possesion machine but trading off a winger for a center evens out the line up. Domi is still a kid too

Ok that is a good reason. Pittsburgh picked up Hossa at the TDL in 2007-08 and ended up losing to Detroit in the finals. Detroit signed Hossa for the 2008-09 season and went on to lose to Pittsburgh in the finals.
