Leafs have no heart

Created by: Leafloyalist

Description
For anyone that watched todays game against Florida...

The 2nd the Panthers started checking n going for the puck the leafs start to chip n peel away from the puck... too many soft players driving the boat.

Again I am going to mention the leadership lost by Bozak, Kadri and Gardiner and Connor Brown

Replaced with a Selfish Captain that doesnt look for the best play but the play that makes him stand out.

Matthews is a superstar american whose always sleeping.

Marner conserves his energy n gets flown by constantly.

If there is one of the 3 that needs to go, it’s Marner. The most expendable because he’s grossly overpaid & not a franchise center. Use that cap space to sign Pietrangelo in the off-season.

Here’s my hot take... marner was trying to shoot too much tonight. Had he been dishing the puck more the leafs would have pulled away. That overtime winner went to his head.

Realistically... some bad bounces cost us the game.

I don’t know why you hate marner so much. You wouldn’t hate him if he was feeding the pens scorers the puck.

You’ve got the wrong message. I love Marner, I just want him to be on Pittsburgh, so I try to brainwash Leaf fans to believe the don’t need him.

YES, but the panthers started forechecking and playing hard n leafs curled up...whats the point dominating for 40 mins n a team can decide to play hard for 20 mins making the leafs turtle.

its like a rope a dope style, let the leafs think they winning then play hard n win in the last few mins.

the last time the leafs had 3 all stars at the all star game , was when the tractor trailer fell off the cliff.. too many similarities.

Not sure the relevance of the all-star game. It's a festival designed for 10yr olds to enjoy.

I didn't see the leafs curling up simply because of a forecheck. I saw a poor play by Ceci put everyone else out of position and the puck ended up in the back of the net moments later. Then I saw Hoffman manhandle Ceci to get position on him and score. Then I saw the Panthers do what a good team should do when up late in the 3rd, which is tighten up defensively. Panthers are a good team and coached well...sometimes you just have to tip your hat to them for converting on their chances. It was a big loss, yes, but this post is a little over dramatic.
