Im not against this trade at all from a Canes fan, But I think Minny could get more from another team

I think we either trade Dumba OR Brodin, not both. Pateryn in our top 4 long term is... Not ideal.

Playing Pateryn in the top 4 next season will only help the long-term rebuilding process.

Pateryn wouldn't be long term, 1 year left after this year and I wouldnt anticipate a re-sign, especially with guys like menell waiting in the wings

IF you trade both Brodin and Dumba, I think you need To target a legit D prospect coming back in one of the deals

@RalphMac @MNBassman what if we made this Dunba trade and then targeted Calen Addison in a Zucker to Pittsburgh deal?

That was my thought exactly with my comment above...until I considered a future Wild blue line with (potentially) Spurgeon, Menell, and Addison on the right side...

I am, however, a person who wants the best value (almost) regardless of need because redundant pieces can be moved later for pieces of need so I would definitely consider Addison in a trade with the Penguins.
