My interpretation of the trade: Manson for Liljegren, Miller for 4th, and Bracco for taking Ceci. I’d change the pick to a 3rd and forget Bracco or just flat out forget him. He’s not a deal breaker for me.

Leafs fans over value 90% of their players. The only player worth our time is Liljergren.

All Toronto does is panic, it is what I hate most about being a leaf fan.

We do the same and I’m guilty of it. But I also think what an unbiased value of a player on here is would be a lot different than the true value placed on a player by NHL front offices.

I can’t wait until the day where news breaks that they’re talking to STL about a defenseman and everyone gets all hyped to get Parayko/Pietrangelo and then the trade breaks and it’s Justin Faulk for Kasperi Kapanen

Which is weird, because the people who seem to get in the most disagreements here, are the ones who think they know it all, and then cry foul when someone disagrees with them.

I wouldn't sleep on Bracco the kid is a great playmaker only thing holding him back is there is no sense having him play 2 minutes a game on the 4th line. Leafs are to deep at RW

He reportedly asked for a trade and has like no value but still nobody has traded for him...he's nothing special.

Not to mention the coach he played for in the A is now the coach he’d play for in the NHL and with some of the injuries could have called him up but hasn’t.

Yeah, except that Manson is worth more than the untried Liljegren, Miller is worth more than a fourth and Bracco isn't needed (Sprong and Sherwood are probably better) no matter who he's an offset for.

If we trade Manson the least we should get back is a 2020 second in the top half of that round.

This. TOR fans have been ****ting on Manson so much that is Duck fans have actually started to believe he’s not worth what we think. Manson would get more from another team than just Liljegre. Liljegren isn’t that great and similar level prospects could had from other teams with a nice juicy + for a player of Manson’s abilities. Cal Foote (TB), Valimaki (CGY), UV (BOS)... all reasonable targets on teams that may be interested in adding more defensive snarl and grit ahead of a deep playoff push. You could even try going after Dobson (NYI). Why should we sell Manson for less to TOR? They need him more than anyone.

We shouldn’t sell low on Manson. He’s having a poor year, but he’s a guy you want on your team when the playoffs come by and a player who we know can step up when it counts.
