I’ll give you credit. This is atleast something new than the pk trades. However, both are extremely one sided in the pens favor.

Wow I agree. I can safely say Mantha isn't getting traded unless it's a ridiculous overpay. Galchenyuk is a UFA and won't sign in Detroit so that means he has no value to Detroit.

What makes you think Chucky doesn't sign in Detroit? Out of all the FA destinations he could go Detroit actually makes some of the most sense. He has a chance to play a top 6 role there with ease. He could probably get paid as well.

Have you seen he standings? Detroit is 15 points the next worst team and they are projected to get 48 points. Check out the link below:

Red Wings

It really doesn't matter a team that struggles to score isn't trading there best scoring threat who before he got hurt was almost averaging a point a game.

Now Galchenyuk has 17 points in 43 games and AA has 19 points in 37 games. Since AA is having the worst season of his career what does that say about Galchenyuk?

With regards to Galchenyuk easily playing top 6 when looking at Detroit's roster bottom 6 is much more likely. Now I wouldn't play Galchenyuk in front of Larkin, Mantha, Bertuzzi, Zadina, Fabbri and AA. You also have to consider Veleno, Rasmussen and who ever Detroit drafts. Detroit is guaranteed a least the 4th overall pick and the top 4 or 5 forwards in the draft will most likely be able to play right away.
