Columbus laughs are your offer. We need centers and you’re taking 2 of them, our 2nd and 3rd line centers and giving us 1 back.... now why in the world would Columbus make this trade? It’s awful for us.

it’s basically an inconsistent 2nd line center, a 3rd line center and a middle 6 wing for A cap dump, an overpaid bottom 6 center, a unneeded defenseman and a middle 6 wing and a 2nd.... now does that really seem like a trade a team in the playoff hunt is making? I’d think not...

I think the Wild would probably take that and run.

Cap and roster space get a little dicey next year, but buying out Eriksson isn't as bad as I thought. This isn't the first ACGM I've seen trading Boeser, is there a reason why? His numbers look fine to me, but I haven't actually seen him play this season so is there something else going on?

I was wondering the same thing...

He’s been a bit injury-prone in his career, but it sure would be nice if the Wild had two goal scorers on their roster (assuming Kaprizov pans out).

I'm not sure where you are coming from, or what flavor kool-aid you are drinking, but...
Virtanen is a 30 pt player thus far in his 3 years of stats (290 games or so / 82).
The remaining package is spare parts, and really would not help the Jackets now since they already have momentum and chemistry.
Jenner and Wennberg have been shoring up the 2C and 3C positions on a team that has gone 18-2-5 in their last 25 games.
Jackets would pass very quickly on your offer.

My thinking was that Virtanen is 2 years younger than Anderson and on a 50ish point pace this year compared to his 13 pt pace. It's a gamble which player ends up being better in the next couple years and I could see it go either way.

I know Jenner is a popular player but he's never put up he points expected and his production/role could be replaced by Sutter and the 2nd helps replace some of the picks Clb spent last year . I saw Baertschi/Wennberg as a wash but I was under the impression that Wennberg was a anchor of a contract and had been a disappointment the past few years.

Stecher is a sweetener and is a similar player as Nutivaara , I figured that he would be helpful with Marray's injury.

Boeser has seemingly struggled to get back to his level of play in his rookie season but he's a fantastic player and has had a rough year with family health issues so I expect he will rebound. He's put up points but hasn't been the same threat as before.

I was trying to build a cup competitive team this year and figured he was the best way to upgrade.
