Winnipeg acquires an additional defenseman and shakes up their roster. Michael Frolik’s am expiring contract and they send Perrault‘s contract to Buffalo.

Sheary or Bogo don't help with any of the needs the Penguins need. Were definitely looking at a top 6 winger to replace and neither do that.

I don't think I've ever seen Namestnikov play centre. That said, Ottawa gladly accepts this deal.

don't think the penguins should be keen on acquiring two depth rentals for two cost controlled pieces with the only difference being one to two dozen spots in the draft. I don't necessarily think they are bad targets, they offer good depth(and we know sheary had some chemistry with Crosby in the past) but trading Bjugstad opens another hold that would need to be filled, and if Murray is moved this summer DeSmith would be the backup next year.
