.900 save %. Quite a bit to give up for those numbers.

Does it seem steep? Roster player on most teams in the league and 2 picks for a back up and a 13th forward. If you’re willing to call Moore for Clifford a wash (I think Moore is better) then you’re looking at Campbell for possibly 2 3rds.

If this deal solidifies the (backup) goaltending, I am all for it. I very much liked Moore's game, his hustle and back-checking, but between the emergence of Engvall (above) and Timashov (perhaps equal), there was only so much room for Moore in the back six. I have also heard that the Leafs, and specifically our president, is in advanced discussions with Ray Shero. He would be brought in as a special advisor to the GM, which will hopefully light a fire under Dubas. If the Leafs don't make the playoffs this season, Dubas is gone and Shero would be promoted to GM. Both current assistant GMs stay as-is.

Where’d you hear this?

Dubas definitely had to do something though. Especially after another L under Hutchison.

I heard this from my bud Elliotte Friedman. I am not sure if he's reported this publicly yet or not.

minimal costs? Paying a 3rd and most likely a 2nd for a backup goalie and 13th F is the opposite of "minimal"
