Well that was quick lol.

First rule of Leafs trades:
If they are in many rumours, they won't be a Leaf. If they were in a few rumours and hardly mentioned, they most certainly will be.
Interested in seeing how it works out! Can't go much worse lol.

Trading a young 4th liner on a controllable contract for an old slow UFA 4th liner.

Trading 2 3rd round picks (Who knows what the conditions are) for a fringe NHL backup.

Leafs don't win this trade.

Hmmmmmm... This could be very good. And I am not even a fan of Campbell. Fair deal.

They traded a young controllable 4th liner for an old UFA 4th liner. That's a loss right there.

Then you consider that they paid 2 3rd round picks for a guy who's 28 and played 58 NHL games. It's a bad trade.

If you’re willing to call Moore for Clifford a wash which I don’t think it is, Moore is the better player with a more attractive future and controllability, then you are left with Campbell for potentially two thirds, which doesn’t seem great either. I think that Toronto gave up the two best assets in the trade in Moore and a sure thing 2020 3rd.

Good trade for LAK, good asset management. It is certainly not bad for TOR, however alot depends on how reachable that condition is, 2 thirds feels like a lot. But Campbell has shown he can get hot so maybe they catch lightning in a bottle, Moore is a decent get for LAK tho.

Care to explain why I am butthurt? Leafs just lost a trade and they aren't in the playoff spot. Montreal is exactly where they should be... Laval is in a playoff spot, the Marlies are not. Keep taking L's bro.
