Comparing to Toronto in the past decade (2009-2010 - 2018-2019)

Playoff appearances
Toronto: 4
Montreal: 6

Playoff Round Wins
Toronto: 0
Montreal: 5

Just because Toronto is a regular season team

Regular Season Division WIns
Toronto: 0
Montreal: 3

Toronto hasn't came anywhere Montreal in terms of success in the past 10 years.

It doesn't matter if you can make it past the first if you don't win. My point is you keep bragging about all the Canadians have done over the last 50 years you need to give your head a shake

It matters when you say I can't talk **** about Toronto because Montreal hasn't won a cup since '93. I can because of what I said.

At least I didn't make 50 post in a minor trade by a team I'm not a fan of

Dubas gonna Dubas

I love that he's the GM of Toronto

Oh hey bro ... I'm just gonna leave this here.

Jack Campbell (2017-2020)

60 = GP
2.49 = GAA
0.918 = SV%
Cap Hit = $1,600,000
Term = 3 years
Age = 27

Carey Price (2017-2020)

163 = GP
2.74 = GAA
0.911 = SV%
Cap Hit = $10,500,000
Term = 7 years
Age = 32

Why does Carey Price cost 7 times more for over twice as long?

You're really going to count 2017 when Price played injured for nearly half the season?

How about you use 2016-2020 or 2018-2020? Stop choosing specific years to fit your narrative.

I chose Campbell's whole career vs Price during the same time-frame.

Now it sound's like you're asking me choose specific years to make Price look better?

I did't even know Price "played injured" for half of 2017 ... sounds dumb for Bergy to let him do that while signed for another 8 years?

Oh man, I think this is a Potential Highway robbery for Toronto, if he gets the majority of the games next season with Hutchinson or Woll as a backup and he does well. LA isn’t trading a goalie for awhile, first Bishop, then Kuemper, now Here,

It was a 4th liner and backup goalie for 2 3rds and Moore, it wasn't a bad trade, you are correct.

*Possible starting goalie. Right now anyway he is. We will have to see if he holds up as a starter long term.

It's great to see how they developed and all, but at the time, Campbell was nothing more than a "meh" backup.

I think most people though Campbell was an above average backup, a kind of guy who could be a 1b, but ya, at the time he definitely wasn't starter material or even close to it at the time of the trade.

and just like that, Campbell has started to fall back down to earth. Guess it's Rittich's turn to go on a run?

A handful of bad games after going undefeated in over a year doesn't worry me.

"in over a year"

I mean it's 11 games but that's one way of over exaggerating it

believe it's only fair since you're over exaggerating about his last 3 games
