I think you mean chiarelli wizardry? Why would the oilers trade a top pairing defensive defenseman for a middle 6 forward?

I get yr point but we were better without Larsson ...if we could get a winger for mcjesus while losing the ghost of Taylor Hall and his awful minus numbers ( both corsi and +/- ) I'm all for it ...

hockey gets harder and harder as the season goes on, than the playoffs start.

I don't follow Toronto closely, but why would Holland trade a legit top-4 RHD (with no replacement in-house) for a winger who has scored just 2 goals at 5v5 this year - WHILE PLAYING ON A LINE WITH MATTHEWS AND NYLANDER.

Sorry, but that's really, really bad. I wouldn't trade Matt Benning straight up for Johnsson right now.
