Description

I know he’s not right handed but he’s probably one of the cheapest d men they could get for the market
Chicago needs depth and Kapanen would be an excellent addition and would be willing to make this trade
Yes Chicago is lacking defense but this trade would only happen if Chicago would make another move (example: Vatanen)
Gustafsson is on a really cheap contract which is good for rentals
Some leaf fans may come at me but this is a cheap option for a good defenseman

He's not good defensively. and I'm a Blackhawks fan. We know who he is. He's got real value, but TOR isn't the team looking for a Gus type player.

I don't even think Murphy for Kapenen would get consideration from TO, they are very high on Kap and spent an exhausting amount of time developing his defensive game and PK game. His offensive game is natural.
