I like it but I cant see FLA giving him up when they are on track to make playoffs. Would keep hoffman as their own "rental" IMO.

He also mentioned in another article that Tallon is looking for a top defenseman to play with ekblad and that if he need to sacrifice a players to acquired that defenseman he would probably use Hoffman. So basically the panther won’t trade hoffman unless they gets a solid defenseman for him.

I think Hoffman would clean up playing for the Blues, but I'm not interested in trading away Mikkola and a 2020 1st for renting him (let alone more than that).
