A pending UFA late 1st round pick and 3rd round pick for Taylor Hall? Get real the return would need to be similar to what Arizona gave up to acquire Hall. And this garbage isn't anywhere near close enough to land Hall.

Its the pacific division, everyone in that division is doing mediocre. They are still 4 points from the division lead no need to panic for them

Their loss in the trade is the could be's, and the range of the pick in exchange for Chucky who maybe they could still get a pick out of or maybe they resign him given their history with him. Hall isn't going to resign at this point. They aren't trending towards a playoff spot and they are out a first round pick at this point. Recoup some of your losses and get value while you still can.

If it gets to that point. Van is playing good hockey, Edmonton is playing better hockey, and we all know what Vegas is capable of. No need to panic yet, but trade deadline is looming.
