Im not a Flyers or Sabres fan but......

Take out those two picks on the Philly side and switch them with 2 1st's...and take out BUF's 2nd...Olofsson may be a deal breaker as well

There must be somethibg in the water in philly! This is terrible. Buffalo get older and gave the best three players. I hope the guys who made that trade don’t really think that was a fair deal

Montreal fans on this site that think every player they move is going to bring a 2020 1st and a tier 1 prospect.

Tatar and petry if they are moved will land a first round pick and some prospect that is a sure thing. First there not much on the market this year. So if these two players enter the market they will become the best players at their position available. Second the fact that they have another year on their deal (who are very good deal both could be around 3 millions with salary retain! Make them even more appealing. So there nothing here delusionnal about that. Now depending on what a top tier prospect is for you, this is the part where opinion could converge but but yes montreal would want a good prospect with a first round pick that for sure. This as been the price to pay to acquire top six forward or 23+ minutes puck moving defenseman.

No one is giving up a tier 1 prospect and a 1st for Petry a 32yr old defenseman. Tatar could get a 1st and a b or c prospect.

Petry return would be similar to Muzzin since petry number are better the Muzzin at the time of the trade. And if kevin hayes or paul statsny fetched a first round pick a prospect tatar will easily get that kind of return since he have another year on is deal. You might be frustrated since detroit have just ****ty player to trade this year at the deadline but the value of those players have nothing to do with it. Historically players like tatar and petry have fetched a first round pick and a prospect and if they are moved it won’t be different.

Muzzin went for a 1st and 2 players who more than likely won't become full time NHL players. Are you frustrated? Attacking Detroit like that is kind of a last resort and happens when you have nothing left and know you are going to lose the argument. So I think you are starting to realize that those players won't bring that big of a return and its why you had to resort to name calling.

You have bring nothing to table in the first place. Historically the value that players like tatar and petry old are prospect and first round pick. That won’t be different this time if they are traded. Sean durzi and carl grandstrum are good prospect. How can you say that a 20 year old first year professional is a bad prospect? Grandstrom is more of a long shot but he managed to do ok in ahl. And i don’t know what name calling you reffer to? Injust said detroit have nothing good to sell this year this is just a fact. Every insider around the league agree on that. I did made that story up. Why tatar could gave detroit a 1st, 2nd and 3rd when he was on is worst season and then now when he is near the point per game rate would fetch a first a prospect? Kevin hayes and Paul Stastny where traded for that return and where rental only players and where not producing at that rate.

You make fun of others for over valuing players but when it happens to you get all bent out of shape.

Grundstrom is an ok skater with some skill but not enough to be anything more than bottom 6 forward if he can even make it on to a NHL roster. It's more of the same with Durzi he is an average skater and average defender. He's smart with the puck in his own end and it's his passing that got him this far but a lot of scouts don't think its enough to overlook his average skating and defensive play.

That what we call prospects.
