Description
THIS IS JUST FOR FUN EICHEL IS AS UNTOUCHABLE AS IT GETS

idk i figured Eichels value is somewhere around 4-5 first round picks: Kyle connor is roughly two firstrounders in my opinion, Jack roslovic an early 2nd, ves is worth a second, plus a first rouder and another second. so thats around roughly 5 firsts in value

I would look at laine value over trading a longtermed connor, that might also lessened the rest of the package, but obviously all in fun.

yeah i feel like Kyle connor would be more intriguing if i was Buffalo, his deal is good already and is going to be very good in a couple more years

Ya i would dread to part with connor, on signing it with expectations of being in wpg longterm, might be a little different with a longtermed eichel. 7 million connor is better than a 9.5 million laine in my opinion

No guarantees eichel would enjoy wpg and scheifele seems signed up for his career, so I would say no

Agreed but a large part of me feels we haven't seen Laine at his best yet, I feel Kyle is going to be a 70-80 point guy for his career which is obvisouly very good, I just think Patty is capable of a lot still

Ya I can agree to that, just not sure if it’s going to be in a small blue collar town, like Winnipeg, he wants to get paid and be compared to the best in the league which may lead him to greener pastures. I don’t believe the jets can win with 10 million dollar players, need a st.louis approach over a Pittsburgh or Chicago approach. Depth is the key in my opinion

definitley, all we really need to do is let a couple guys develop into roles like Rosy, Niku and get help next year hopefully with Heinola and/or Samberg and a signing in FA. If those happens we will be a playoff team again next year no doubt

Ya development not a problem, niku starting to turn the corner, games starting to slow down for him, I actually wouldn’t mind a cheap reasonable hamonic contract added, and hopefully the kids are ready to go or the cheapest of kulikov, sbsisa, beaulieu for another season. The hole at 2c a little trickier, but if the blueline is back solid, 2c can be bought at a later date. Roslovic starting to figure it out also, like you said, but he maybe destined to stay a winger.

If I'm Buffalo I would say yes to either deal but if I'm Winnipeg I'd say no to the second deal...that's a lot of scoring to give up. In saying that I don't know what Winnipeg has in the system that might be coming up in terms of a scoring winger. Also in the original trade the first would probably be lottery protected with Winnipeg being on the bubble for the playoffs.
