Or maybe for Tony DeAneglo with Hamilton done for the year.
Not from what i would call a 100% reliable source but i was informed that CAR was interested in Hank, which i thought was odd.

The funny thing is, he's not going anywhere. It's not like we're desperate to trade him for a pick lol. Ride the Russian duo. Hank either goes to a contender @1/2, or is simply bought out this summer. All this other stuff makes zero sense... Btw he's going to be a real good goalie and teams will be upping the ante for him in 2-3 years.

I keep seeing rangers fans wanting to trade Deangelo but why...

I would think the Canes would definitely be interesting if he was a available seems like a good trading partner for the Rangers

NYR Trading DeAngelo is not a need but, the depth of the organization is on the back end & he's an arbitration eligible RFA with a big payday coming based on his production this year.
NYR cap situation is still pretty sticky for 2 more years.
The idea to sell High at a position you feel organizationally deep at & address maybe a weaker pool (up front). a RHD with that kind of offensives upside could bring back a nice return.
NYR are still 2-3 years away from seriously competing for a Cup.

What do you think his value is I don’t think he would get moves unless it is a really good return

Tough market for Tony DeAngelo, i think he only gets dealt if they agree to an extension with Kreider.
I'd put that on the unlikely side unless CK takes 5-6 years @6.5 or they give more dollars & less term at 4 @ 7-7.25 ...
Nurse just signed an extension as a pending RFA for 2 years at 5.6 per... SO TDA is looking at about that as a starting point in terms of dollars ..... for a 1 or 2 years deal ...
TDA would get NYR a 1st, an A prospect , & a B prospect, depending on the team., lottery teams wont give up a first though.

Would Carolina be in with Hamilton done for the year?
Columbus with Seth Jones out indefinitely?
Winnipeg with Buf not in the picture?
    Vegas?

Should be an interesting 2 weeks until 2/24 ...

Trading out of the division to the Jets would be the smart move but Rangers already fleeced them last time with Hayes lol.
