Not too sure ab the TOR trade value, but I think it would be better if the jackets hung onto savard, they don’t need anymore middle 6 wingers IMO. And I think you could go a 3rd for Thornton, I don’t think u need to trade a 2nd

Columbus declines. If you want Savard start with Kerfoot and a low end RHD. We don’t need wings, we need a center.

I'd trade Kerfoot and Ceci for Savard. That makes sense

Lmao Columbus isn’t adding the pick. Toronto would have to pay us to take Ceci. He’s hurt now anyways. I was thinking like Savard for Kerfoot and schmaltz. Someone who could turn into a 6th defenseman under torts, not an injured player who could be out for a while, let alone adding a 3rd for it. Not happening.

What the **** are you dumb. Alex Kerfoot is a center and he is just working well on the wing. His primary position is centre

I think Kerfoot for Savard is fair if not favours Columbus a little and then Ceci just to equal out the cap hits.

kerfoot is a young centre comfortable on the wing locked up for three more years. Ceci isn't that bad as a bottom pairing guy, he falters when the leafs play him top pair. maybe adding a 4th is more reasonable, but kerfoot is decently valuable

Didn’t Ceci leave last nights game and not return?

The only reason you’d ask for the 6th is if the injury is serious enough to keep him out of the line up for a bit, then it’s just a cap dump for the remainder of the season.

Savard is a top 4 RHD, just as valuable to Columbus as a middle 6 center would be. We aren’t adding to Savard for Kerfoot.

I am not asking for anything. Just Kerfoot for Savard and throw in Ceci because you can afford him and it will benefit our cap situation. He's not terrible

I was under the impression that Ceci was hurt. I guess he isn’t. Savard for Ceci and Kerfoot would be a fine trade.

He is, sounds like a high ankle sprain, which is why it's just a throw in. I only include him because Savard makes more than Kerfoot

I think it’s only a mil more, but it would work on Columbus end.
