That trade is bad for Toronto, First off Rasmus Ristolainen is a one dimensional RHD, Rodriguez has no value and i wouldn't deal Kerfoot or Kapanen for Sheary let alone for this package. Pretty sure Dubas says no thank you.

Risto is not one dimensional. His game has improved lot this year. Lafs are a one dimensional team and need a big physical player like risto, especially for the playoffs. HE plays all the tough minutes for the sabres against the top lines. Sheary might get a late second or at least a third. Erod is a fourth. Bracco has little value and just a gamble at this point and will need to give him up to get rid of ceci contract.

SInce the leaf fans think they can get manson for a ceci and AHL players, off course they will not think value is fair. But ask a unbiased fan base and it is fair trade.

Yeah so instead of being a -41 like last season he has 25 points and a -3 rating this year. Playing on a more talented team. For his career he's still a -21 player so yeah he's still one dimensional just like AA is with Detroit.

This trade SUCKS for the Leafs. Sheary and Erod have negative value as does Ceci. So let's just say that it is a wash between those 3.
In what world does Risto land Buffalo Kap, Kerfoot and Bracco? Unfair to label Bracco as a gamble - he is unfortunate to be subject to a deep forward group in Toronto. Bracco easily plays in Buffalo's top 6 the minute his equipment shows up.

Yeah Risto is on a much more talented team they are pace for 6 more points this year. I just love how people bring up plus minus like it is shows them something. Doughty was -34 last year and is -14 and has 28 points. Is he garbage or does he play on a bad team? Kings have close to same goal differential.

Guy - Sheary is worthless, at most you are getting a conditional 7th rounder for him at the deadline for a team that is looking for a 4th line depth player with some playoff experience. Erod may land you a 5th, MAYBE. Bracco hasn't had a chance at the NHL level because he would have to beat out one of Marner, Nylander or Kap and that isn't happening. Bracco is only in the AHL because if the RW depth.

Bracco, is not on roster because he is an AHL player. He will never be a good NHL player. Sheary and erod > Bracco.
