As a Canucks fan, I don’t hate this trade. I would replace the 2round pick with a third or perhaps a B prospect, but I think it’s reasonable value.

I think the team is better off not doing the deal though. Risto’s cap + Rafferty coming up next season, makes it unnecessary

Yes, but then the Canucks have Meyers, Stecher, Risto, and Rafftery. Need to replace Virtanen and resign Markstrom. Doesn’t work
