That Coleman trade is brutal. A bottom 6 forward, a prospect whose value has gone down considerably, a depth forward AHL/NHL forward and a 7TH ROUND PICK for a guy who is probably gonna score 30 goals this year and is a dynamic PKer.

Johnsson is not a bottom 6 forward.

Columbus has 0 interest in making that trade. We have no use for more defenseman. If you want Savard start with Kerfoot.

Honestly, I don't think Toronto can realistically make a Savard trade happen. I don't think Kerfoot is good enough to be the primary target, and while they do have centers better than him, Savard isn't going to be the centerpiece in any trade involving them.

As I just said in another trade Kerfoot for Savard is a good trade for both teams. Kerfoot have potential to be a 2nd line center in the NHL, I think torts can get him there. That being said, it seems like a fair trade, but I doubt either team would make that trade right now do to how important each player is to their current team.

I honestly don't believe that of Kerfoot - on the basis that if he really could do it, I think Colorado would have kept him there instead of trading him in the deal to pick up Kadri.

That's a trade that could work for both teams.

The Leafs should not make either one of those trades. They are bad in my opinion
