Where are you getting that number from? Because Cam Fowler needed 2 months to recover from his broken cheek surgery

There are all kinds of example on that.
It also helps that he's in an area with guys who pioneer surgery for these sorts of things.
They will use the small plates on it. In 3-4 weeks they will then give him a facemask. He'll be back.
You aren't talking about an ankle break here. Facial bones are thinner, have great blood supply.. They heal faster.
My only worry on this would be vision problems depending on where he was hit. Or nerve damage. But it didn't sound like any of that is an issue but we don't know that as of yet.
But my guess is 3-4 weeks.

That's good. As long as he's back for the playoffs I'm happy

yeah he'll be fine. There is a lot less to worry about here if there is no vision problems.
It's not like the ankle has restricted range of motion, or anything like that. It won't effect his play as long as he can keep his weight up. My guess is he will be pounding shakes, can probably still work out some to maintain strength. He should be good to go.

I would actually totally take Gudbranson for one more year if it meant Johnson going back the other way.

I thought I saw 4-6 weeks. But I think he will be back in 4 weeks with the mask. He will just have to get used to wearing the mask.
