            I would literally beat Doug Wilson with my flip-flop if he gives up our 2021 1st round draft pick. Like, absolutely whale on him until he cries.

            (and yes, that is the correct form of whale/wail/wale - I double checked! :P)

            I get it, but I would rather have Cirelli than take a risk on a late 1st rounder who will take a coupleyears to develop

            I think anyone who thinks our 2021 pick isn't going to be fairly high is delusional, especially with the goaltending you have planned. Sawchenko is barely over a .900 and the sample size is less than ten games - might he be very good in a couple of years with more competent defensemen in front of him? Sure, that's not outside of the realm of possibility, but he's not going to be NHL ready next year, and Jones as our starter yet again, with no signs of improvement from him, does not lead me to believe that the team you have laid out is capable of making it to the playoffs, Cirelli or no.
