Allegedly the GMBC has explored the possibility of dealing one of our wingers, including Foegele, in exchange for a defenseman with team control. Weegar would fit the bill for us, IMO.

The Panthers aren't exactly solid at defense so I don't see them making that deal unless it opens up salary cap room to make another deal.

This is a good idea, except you wanna pick up someone who can actually play defense? Raiding the PANTHERS of all teams isn't a good idea

This is the biggest hurdle. Their GM has made it clear he's looking to add a defenseman, so not sure they'd want to move one while they're still in the playoff race.

I was more refering to Pysyk.... Weegar isn't a GOOD defenceman, he's got very underwhelming stats. Comparable to TVR from the Analytics, unless I'm missing something?
