I dont hate that sharks deal, but id like to get someone closer to the show with the same potential if possible

I hear ya, Papi...just thought that since the Sharks prospect pool is arguably around bottom 5 in the league- the addition of a pick and a rising prospect would start to address matters there...all the while locking down the Sharks G situation for years to come. I know that most would rather find lightening in a bottle with an "off the scrap heap" b/u goalie- rather than invest in one....but you mention the Big Show- you can pencil Georgi in now for 25-30 starts...and with his work ethic, desire, and skill- there is a good chance he pushes to be #1 in the near future, if not now.

As far as alternate pieces to this trade- NYR have several other players/prospects that could be included in a deal like this... only Nils (who I would move in a lateral trade), Miller, and Krav are off the table.

FWIW...Kakko would be 2RW in this lineup...shifting Krav and DiG down.
