I agree. If you give Chiasson to the Bruins, they will probably still win the Stanley Cup.

Blueline still isn’t good enough. Bear has been awesome but he’s not a top pairing guy. Oilers have been missing a true #1 since Souray or Pronger. Whitney was close that one season but that’s about it. Klefbom is a great #2 defender.

Quantity doesn't bring back quality. Hawks decline. That will cost RNH, a 2020 1st, 2020 2nd and Broberg. If Kap, then 2020 1st, 2020 2nd, 2021 2nd, and Broberg.

That said, at this point as an angry Hawks fan I'm open to selling Strome and Cat. Toews and Kane aren't going anywhere and Saad is a big favorite of Chicago. The dynamic otter duo could be on the table though.

His contract is why he deserves less

I agree, but he has given quite a few quality prospects.

The defense is weaker for this - and especially if he's hoping Barrie can play 1RD! Even 2RD is a stretch, the way Barrie is playing this year.

Barrie is a 3RD. And not as good a 3RD as Benning. He can run a PP though, so there's that.
