yup hes been on fire. Norris and a top 5 pick for Karlsson plus a bunch of other really good pieces. Im sorry but I dont think we lost that trade at all. I think we did as good as Colorado did on that Duchene trade and probably even better.

You don't often see a team this young be this good in the AHL. All their top scorers are 1997's or younger (Lead by Norris at 50 points as an 19 years-old!!)

In their last 10 games, they are 9-1-0.

Unbelievable.

100%. From the start I thought it was a bit much to give up for EK.

The problem with SJ is that they got Karlsson on the decline......

You could make an argument that the trade is fair if Karlsson was still in his prime.

Norris' numbers are better than Connor and William Nylander

I'd wait and see until they get some time in the NHL before claiming a big victory

Well not really...

When it happened, almost every Sens fan was really pissed:

- we had no idea who Balcer was;
- At the time, Norris wasn't a promising prospect (we wanted Meirs, Herlt, Lebanc or Merkley);
- DeMelo was a throw-in and only really found his game once he got to Ottawa;
- And the first-round pick was expected to be in the 20-30 range;

Honestly, we thought the big peace in the trade was Tierney (which was very underwhelming)... He actually might end up being the "worst" thing we got back in the trade (and he's still pretty good)

I honestly thought the Sens were getting Hertl, Merkley and a 1st before it happened

Back to the B-Sens, They just got Wolanin back after coming if the IR as well. This young team is something special (reminiscent of the Syracuse team with Kuch, Johnson, Vasilevskiy etc.)
