LHD needs work.

No we have Dahlin, McCabe, Montour, Pilut, Samuelsson, Gilmour, Johnson, Laaksonen, Bryson who can all play left. 0 need for LHD.

that's a good depth chart and all, but outside of Dahlin and McCabe, most of those guys aren't signed for next year or haven't even signed their entry level.
wouldn't you want Montour to play on the right side?
not to mention you can't believe that Eichel is in the mindset that he is willing to wait to see if any of those guys can pan out? Buffalo needs to make moves to compete now. and if that isn't the mindset, just trade him now and save the kids career. Buffalo does not need another pick or prospect, they need to trade whatever little they have now for middle 6 guys, sign everything that moves in UFA and compete.
i'm not saying anything about the value of the above trade one way or the other but Buffalo fans are looking at it the wrong way...

Pilut is better than mccabe. The problem right now is that we have Marcus Johansson playing 2nd line center and a grab bag of crap at 3rd line center. I'm not even sure who our 2nd line rw is, sheary? Vesey? I get that ghost would be an upgrade, but our forwards are ahl level after our top line.

I don't care where Montour plays, he is equally good on both sides. It is irrelevant whether the prospects are signed or not, point is we have unbelievable depth on D but on forward we have negative depth. We need forwards more than any other team in the league imo. Instead of Ghost, we would go after a JVR, Patrick etc.
