NSH is 9th in the NHL with 3.22 goals/game -- how is that an "inept offense", like you say? I'm not knocking the trade, but your reasoning doesn't make sense there.

Preds offence is slightly above average - not "inept". It's possible Turris gets traded for scraps just to clear salary, but I don't see how adding two low end UFA's who wouldn't make the lineup "sparks" the team.

Even with the Jones injury, there's sure to be better offers on the table for Anderson. If they want a rental defenseman, they can target someone like Vatanen instead of Bogosian.

These Cirelli offers really are pathetic. Don't know if it's because people don't even try or just because the majority of the people on here don't have any clue about how an incredible player and future star that guy is.
