Final 20 game roster plus deadline deals BOS EDM FLA COL

Created by: Stevierebz
Team: 2019-20 Detroit Red Wings
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 10, 2020
Published: Feb. 10, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
these deadline deals are just thoughts, Wings don’t really have any chips to trade. Feel free to question my very existence if you disagree with the values.

Lindstrom got his look and was sent back before burning his ELC. Seider brought up and finishes the season with the big club, burning his ELC, before heading back for the AHL playoffs. Veleno also gets his 9 game look and Ras finishes what is left before the AHL playoffs as well. A couple small trades and a Cap dump are all you see at the deadline.

Lindstoms already burned a year on his ELC, So 9 games doesn't matter he can stay up for the rest of the season. His ELC doesn't slide so it doesn't matter.

Oilers wouldn’t pay that much for Helm. Probably don’t even want him.

If boston would send bjork or pickss if take backes for a season but he wont waive for detroit and Boston isnt actively trying to move him. The rest of the deals are fine , retain whatevr and move daley or green or any of the fodder for whatever.

Yeah Backes would probably rather rot in the AHL, Then waive for Detroit i would think.

They sent him down on paper to providence but then said he didnt have to report or play. So idk maybe he would wavr if he thought he could get in the line up. Hes a pro and a proud guy so idk , i would imagine he thinks retirement in the offseason or maybr he hangs on for the paycheck.

Figured he’d waive for whatever team would give him a chance to play, he’d be an improvement over Neilson I’d think. Maybe next year they just buy him out then and he can sign where ever or maybe Det actually gives him a shot to play. Either way, if we get an asset for him, I’d do it.
