Lol I just posted a pretty similar Carolina trade. It makes so much sense to move Dumba or Brodin there. Also, Soucy should be with Brodin on the RD 2nd pair, they play so well together.

I think Calgary probably accepts, but they need a right shot wing more than a left shot wing. I kind of want to see how Galchenyuk blends with this team before we flip him. He has been in Minnesota rumors for years stemming back to his Montreal days.

Boston probably declines, but I do think Staal has a lot of value right now and he'd be great there.

I’d do it if I’m Carolina, but I’m assuming they’ll go after a rental for cheaper instead.

I did not mess a ton with the lines, i dont know MIN well enough to even try haha

Fair enough, I doubt anybody outside of MN knows how good Soucy has been this year. That's why I think Brodin and Dumba have been in rumors in the first place, we have five top 4 D currently.

Dumba is intriguing but I am concerned on if he is truly defensively good enough to provide exactly what we are missing. We needed a good defensive defenseman since before Dougie went down. It’s a shame because we need a good RHD this year, but not next - makes my head spin.
