I was thinking someone like Bjorkqvist and a 2nd would be ideal. I find Hallander and POJ to be untouchable and the fact that GMJR traded Addison instead of one of those two leads me to believe they are very high on both of them.

Totally agree and the main reason why I say they should trade bjorkqvist is because he’s prob the closest prospect they have to being NHL ready and there’s literally going to be no room. I’d also wanna see what they can do in terms of potentially getting LA to take on JJ but that’s just me being optimistic.

As crazy as it sounds, I think Brodin might have more value than Zucker. The guy is a freaking stud but not many outside MN know it. Top pairing D that is sadly permanently stuck behind unofficial co-owner Ryan Suter.

Brodin is so much better though. Good skater. Younger His underlying numbers are basically “John Marino but a little bit better”

He’s fantastic. Problem is that he’s a D that doesn’t put up flashy numbers and is LD instead of a RD, which lowers his trade value a bit.

But yeah, I’d happily add more to get him.
TanSor liked this.

POJ would have been fun for Wild fans just because Arizona took him with the pick Fletcher sent over for Hanzal in that disaster of a deal. But I think you're right about Hallander, Guerin was familiar with him and the Wild need centers more than dmen so guessing JR wasn't willing to part with him.

I totally agree with you...I’ve been on the Brodin train since last year I just think Martinez seems a little more realistic with the assets the Penguins currently have.
