Description

- Made a trade for a D that wasn't Manson or Dumba. Johnsson + Dermott for Bear + 2nd. Wasn't sure on the value, but I assume most here would say Edmonton should add more. Bear has shown very well his first full year, strong RHD and I think he could slide very well into Toronto's top 4. The added picks can be used to help restock all of the picks they've traded away recently (see Pittsburgh's model). Edmonton gets a Johnsson, a winger who will be able to play in their top 6 at under $3.5M and a pretty decent 4/5 young LHD in Dermott.
- Trying to give Bracco a chance in top 9, if not Engevall could take the spot for sure.
- Mikheyev could want more, not exactly sure since his injury
- Muzzin is worth $5M should be relevant for next 4 years
- Spezza, Clifford resigned at $1M

Wasn't totally sure on the value. Would another 2nd be best, or would you want a prospect?

there is nothing the oilers have that i would (realistically) want for Kapanen. It would either be something worth more than him or a sum of parts that would be worth more than him. The Oilers dont have the type of top 4 D the Leafs need
