Meier is untouchable. Signed on a steal of a contract and is part of the Sharks' future. Impossible he gets dealt unless you add even more to that deal.

Meier is borderline untouchable. Unless you approach with a top 10 prospect which you have none

I don’t think the bruins do this either so it seems like a tough one to get through.

I think this a very fair offer you get a 1st rounder plus 3 former first round picks plus heinien. I am willing to bet most if not all those players being sent to the sharks could make there roster now.

Meier is untouchable... Sharks say no
Bruins get screwed... Bruins say no
Bad for both teams!

John Moore is worth a 3rd, Nordstrom is worth a 4th

"former 1st round picks" mean nothing, all three of them have struggled to make it out of the AHL and are no where near worth what they were when they were drafted.

Meier is a pipe dream. You might as well ask for McKinnon.
Also UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES is Joe Thornton going to come to Boston.
Sweeney is smart enough to have learned the lesson that bringing in an OLD and SLOW player with great highlights from the 1990s ONLY MAKES YOU WORSE. Yes I am talking about you Jagr/Nash/Gionta.
Bruins would be better off with a clueless puppy that skates all around the ice sniffing the puck clumsily.
I don't think Joe Thornton has taken a shot in 100+ games (sometimes his passes get deflected in the net) - and the Bruins DO NOT need any more players that are committed to pass up shooting at an empty net.
NO to Old and Slow.
Kreider from NYR, or even Kase from ANA. Must be under 30 years old for crying out loud.
