2 valuable pieces for 3 pieces Toronto fans trade in every acgm.

If you're getting something you have to give something, Manson probably costs you liljegren or at very least higher picks

Ik ducks say no but thank goodness, someone who understands we don't need more forwards

@swinny thinks we need more forwards because it can open up cap for a defenseman. If he had a brain if you want to bring a defenseman you should trade a forward for a defenseman

I know that the Ducks need RHD. Not A LHD and second and third liners

Yes because a cost controlled top 6 forward that plays in all situations and a 60 point DMan making 2 mill and a PP specialist that's young enough to only get better isn't valuable...

I can't wait for the deadline to pass so we can stop hearing about how Manson is going to cost a top prospect, a 1st round pick and a roster player or two because he's so amazing.

I appreciate the support @Sign_em_up000000. Unfortunately, I have my detractors!

Should check out the banter we have going on here!

1. Hes edited the trade from the original
2. Johnsson got 65 pts collectively over let's say 1.5 seasons not to mention his numbers got a boost from the linemates he had in Toronto under babcock he wouldnt have in Anaheim.
3. Looking at the edited trade with barrie, unless hes resigned before the trade holds negative value as the ducks are already out of the playoff picture and have little use for a 60 pt pp specialist UFA on the golf course

I know an appreciable segment of Leafs Nation doesn't like hearing this, but from Anaheim's perspective, the return from a Manson trade should be near the return from the Muzzin trade.

Manson is younger and signed for an additional year, but Muzzin is better on the ice. However, the Kings could afford to trade Muzzin (because they were going nowhere) and the Ducks have pretentions towards becoming relevant in 2021-2022, so they are less able to bear the loss of Manson.

So Anaheim fans want the equivalent of a first (Bjornfot = Liljegren), a near-NHL prospect (Grundstrom = Robertson), and someone off the Reserve List (Durzi = Kokkonen). That seems fair to us.

And sometimes the opposing team's fan base is right -- see the recent Zucker trade and go back though all the Minnesota fans' comments about the return other ACGM's were offering for him.

I really like the NJ deal for both teams and the only thing I would say about the hawks deal is the black hawk fans that I've talked to would want Kapanen over Mango. I really like those trades tho, there simple and exactly what we need. You are definitely right in your argument with him.

Thanks?. The Jersey deal seems really is just a good hockey deal in the long run I think. I would not be opposed to moving Kappy there. Seems the left side is suddenly the stronger of the two, but whether Mango or Kappy, the point is a guy like Murphy is what the doc ordered.

It's called appreciating constructive feedback for one.

Secondly, outside support telling you I know my stuff deserves the shout out.

It how one builds a rapport with fellow members of the site. @sign_em_up000000, grasshopper has much to learn.?
