This Leafs team is still very young and inexperienced and those problems of playing better team defence, better work ethic and better starts will come with more maturity so still think that the future is very bright for this team.

Shot numbers don't matter if they are low danger shots.
PK are mostly dependant on goalies
Goals against proves my point about it being bad goal tending and not bad defending as the Leafs are giving up the same quality against as elite defensive teams.

You've just listed stats that prove my point lol.

Good defensive teams limit shots per game and high scoring chances. Toronto does neither. Good defensive teams have a half decent PK. Toronto doesn’t. No the stats don’t prove your point. Your blaming shots against on a goalie???? ? Oh and btw your whole shots against don’t matter if their are low quality, well that’s irrelevant in Toronto since they rank bottom 5 in high danger scoring chances.

1) Good defensive teams limit opportunities for goals against, the Leafs do that at an average rate (ranked 15th).
2) PK's have been proven to mostly rely on the goalies stopping the puck. Toronto's goaltending has not been doing so.
3) Yes, they very much do, you just don't know what the stats actually mean and what are important.
4) Literally no. I am saying it doesn't matter as long as they are low danger. Are you illiterate?
5) And over a game they limit xGA at an average amount.

Eclipze - just drop the mike. Random2152 is making a fool out of themselves. Let them. It's that old Mark Twain quote about arguing with certain kinds of people, because they will beat you with experience.

****ing lol. It sucks when facts don't back up your pre conceived notions doesn't it?

Feel free to attempt to explain exactly what you think is wrong with these facts.
