Doubt the Wild do this since every credible source says Guerin wants a center coming back if Dumba or Brodin go out, and also as you said, Dubas seems to prefer guys with term so if he was going to pursue these 2, it would be this year when he can at least get 2 playoff runs out of them. I just don't see the Leafs as being a match for the Wild to make a trade.

Next season they will have 1 year remaining, which is when this ACGM takes place.

I think this is just the second part of the ACGM. There is one posted with the same title just without the 2021 and it's the exact same trade

You're probably right, he probably should have mentioned that in the description. Still stands Wild wouldn't do this. Teams are calling about Brodin and they'll surely get something better than top 9 wingers and a defenseman they don't need. If they move Brodin now, a 1st round pick and center prospect are coming back. Otherwise, they'll see what they can do this summer when teams have more flexibility or they'll just keep him.

Idk man... You'd think the return would be similar to what Muzzin got, considering their similar contract statuses and style of play. That return was 2 b or c prospects and a 2nd... If they manage a first rounder I can't imagine that center prospect is going be very impressive

Muzzin brought in a 1st, plus those prospects. Timing is everything, Martin Hanzal brought in a haul for Arizona because he was the best center available that TDL (and Chuck Fletcher was never a good negotiator at trade deadlines..). Brodin is having a great season and plenty of teams could use him, multiple teams have called Guerin with interest so it's not unreasonable to expect a 1st and a center prospect. Teams like Florida and Carolina have both the need and the ability to send over what the Wild are looking for.

Sorry, I did mean 1st, don't know why I typed 2nd lol. I do think there is probably someone out there who will come close to their asking price, I'm just a believer in getting the best value return when you're in a position like the wild. If they can get a 1st and center prospect back, then great, but if they can get more value without a specific piece, I would just take that offer.
