Agree about JayBo, but we're not doing that. Mikkola will probably be next man up, and we still have Bortz.

So you want to go into playoffs with Gunnarson, Dunn and Mikkola/Borts on the left side? No thanks

Plus Martinez has another year so you get him for next season as well.

1- Well, Faulk would likely be one of the LD's with Petro, Bortz has plenty of experience and Mikkola is a very similar player to J-Bo. I don't think we're in trouble there. At least not so much as to trade the 2020 1st.

2- ... which just makes it harder to re-up Petro, a ka priority #1.

I was living in Calgary when he got dealt and I wanted to get his name on my jersey, but they didn't have the font size to fit 11 letters on the back.
He's one of my favorites too. Good for Canada in international and a big part of the Blues hoisting their first cup last spring

Early reports out here is that Bouwmeester was alert and conscious as they took him out of the arena, so it appears that he is out of danger, This sounds like a heart arrhythmia that can be controlled with medication. May God bless him and his family.

Wow that sounds like what Jiri Fischer Red Wings Dman had when he collapsed on the bench, My childhood friend was the Red Wings team physician at the time Dr Anthony Collucci saved his life. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Bouwmeister family.

He had just finished a shift in which nothing had happened (no hits, no fall to the ice, no puck to the head, etc.) and came in, sat one player in from the door, and then did something my doctors tell me not to do any more -- leaned over to pick up a water bottle, lost consciousness and then kept right on going to the floor. Of course, I'm 72 and Bouw is half that age, but apparently the risk is that suddenly bending far over can cause a momentary loss of blood to the brain sufficient to cause a brief outage. I hope it's nothing more than that.

right making the D lineups

Well I guess I just disagree that one of Mikkola. Gunnarson and Bortuzzo are good enough to be in the top 4. Also I do not think Adding a LHD at 3.5 mil will make or break adding re signing Petro, Dunns contract and moving Allen will determine that.

Gunny was in the top 4 during last year's playoffs.

On and off throughout the playoffs with Edmundson and that was with Bouwmeester in the lineup. I think we need LHD help you dont lets just leave it at that.
