I think all of the deals are fairly reasonable. Two things, 1) I don't know how interested NYR are to lump Deangelo with Staal and reduce the potential return and 2) I think you could get more from NJD for Nilsson.

1- deangelo is going to make so much more than that.
2- that trade is ridiculously bad. rangers have plenty of good young goalies for the future.
3- THIS TRADE IS JUST AWFUL

2 bottom 6 guys and a goalie we dont need isnt worth a top 5 point getting dman and young starting goalie and staals contract which only has one year left and a 3rd no thank pretty trash trade.
but youre going to tell me chlapik and tierney are great top 6 forwards and im dumb. i know just go head and leave that elsewhere theyre bottom 6 guys and those are too easy to come by

Tierney is basically Buchnevich at centre. Chlapik is a B- prospect and Gustavsson is a 2nd rounder pick who should be our future starter

yeah buch in my opinion is a 3rd liner, we dont need more meh prospects rangers are looking for close to nhl ready if not nhl ready players, and yeah gus is going to be YOUR future starter shesterkin is our and we have wall and huska in the system to be the future back up. so once again we trade a starting goalie and top point getting dman for trash we dont need!

I wouldn't do that deal as a Rangers fan. DeAngelo had a great season last year and is having an even better year this year. Tierney is a good 3rd liner/okay 2nd liner and we know what we're getting if we keep Georgiev. Gustavsson sounds like a good prospect but with DeAngelo being moved out i don't think it's worth it for us.

The Islanders trade is okay. I'm not sure about the potential for a 1st, though. It's not horrible for either team but it's not great, either, if you ask me. For either side, that is. The Islanders potentially give up a 1st and a good prospect for two rentals. Pageau could probably get that pick from someone, and maybe even the 2nd and Iskhakov or a similar prospect (without the potential of a 1st), while Ennis could probably get a 2nd from someone.
