MTL fans appear to be quite down on Jesperi. Think there could be a deal made with Jesperi added to the mix?

Ryan Strome: Only has 11 assists more than Domi this year who is having a down year...........
Max Domi: Has outproduced Strome every single year he has been in the NHL............

Logic: Domi = Strome..... rolling eyes

People who think the trade above makes sense are the same who traded a 1st + top prospect for guys like E Gustaffsson and Nino Niederreiter last year.

Repeat after me: Domi is having a down year. Domi played last year with Drouin and Shaw all year long. This year bounced around with Armia, Lehkonen, Suzuki and Cousins......and here is the factor everyone is missing, despite this: he has only 4 points less than Danault whose playing with the teams two best wingers in Tatar and Gallagher.

Trading Domi is ok. It makes sense based on our needs. Please do it for the RIGHT value.

The Chicago deal doesn't make sense for either team, largely because there are two RHDs going to CHI. Take one of Brook or Harris and replace the other with a McShane or Olofsson.

I agree with F50marco that Strome does not equal Domi, but it's not insane. Still, if I were talking with the Rangers, any Domi deal would be built around Skjei and then if the Rangers want to move Strome too, the Habs could look at a deal made up of prospects and/or picks.

Agreed. I've seen a couple of those Skjei, Strome and a pick offers for Domi and those at least make sense. I'm not convinced to do it just yet but it at least makes sense.
