no way. zucker has 4 years left at 5.5. the only reason he was moved is because pitt overpaid.

If you look at the market and the perceived asking prices for rentals; kreider - first and prospect, Toffoli - 2nd and prospect, and then for guys with term left kase - 2nd/3rd and a prospect, you gotta deduct that palmieri is around a 1st and a prospect. But I don’t think the devils want to move palmieri so I think you’ll have to overpay in some sort of way to obtain him anyways. Just my opinion on it

Edit: I also think that zucker and palmieri are comparable players in the league. I want to give the edge to palmieri in terms of the players value but I think that’s just based on preference on who id want the bruins to get of the two. Their contracts are about the same with zucker having more term but i don’t think that adds a whole lot of value. Overall their prices to acquire are about equal imo. And the pens just drove up palmieri’s price

His going price is a 2nd and a mid level prospect right now...
So thats fine, but good luck finding anyone that is going to give you more

Reports, other rumors, etc... Not using my own opinion which is that he is worth a 1st and a midlevel prospect

NJD easily passes. This package may be debatable if Palmieri was UFA this summer, but not close for year-and-half term remaining.
