This is without RFAs being signed.

Dermott and Mikheyev are both already proven NHLers and Bracco is ready as well

Trade Kerfoot and sign Pietrangelo. Ride the 45mil you spent on your top 6. They mostly opted for shorter deals in their own interest (as they should). Not your problem if they burn out because you can't afford a more well rounded team because of it.

Wow, thanks for all of the comments guys. I just made this after work to wind down and didn't realize anyone would see it LOL (still kind of new to armchair GM even though I've used this site in general for years).
But yeah, I definitely agree with everyone's opinions. This was a challenge given the players I couldn't use since they weren't "officially signed" (Dermott, Bracco, Mikheyev, etc.) but this really taught me some key things about the Leafs' depth headed into next season. One of them being:

Their defence prospect pool is ridiculously thin following Liljegren and Sandin's graduations. Like, WAY thinner than I could have imagined. I picked Hollowell because I like his upside the most but a pool with him, Lindgren, Kivihalme, and Duszak as the main prospects is far from ideal. I watch a lot of Marlies games since I live in Toronto and I'm really not sold on any of these guys as legitimate NHL prospects even though there's things I like about all of their games. I guess it doesn't matter as much as it could since Holl, Rielly, Sandin, Liljegren, Dermott, and whoever they will acquire is definitely a far better D-core than they've had in recent years and will be around for a little while but whether those 6 can hold it down on a legitimate contender remains to be seen.
