He played Monday night vs Tampa. He's on emergency recall. He'll play tonight and probably tomorrow night, then go back to London.

wow I didn't know that. I didn't see that game.

Yeah I didn't think they would keep him past 9 games. Why waste the year if he sat all year.
But I'm gonna have to watch him play and see how he looks.

Looked good Monday. Played on the wing with Jenner and Nyquist. I assume it’ll be the same tonight

Foudy is the real deal. Couldn't believe what I was seeing the other night. He plays with speed and poise.
But I thought I read somewhere that emergency recall from juniors is allowed only 5 times, and must not conflict with any scheduled OHL game? and must be completed before any post season OHL games? Is this correct? If CBJ needs him for the playoffs, he would probably be one of the first to be called up (if London is out of their post season playoffs).
Foudy will definitely be here next year to compete for the 2C slot (which would make Wennberg our overpaid 3C and bounce Dubi into a buyout or LTIR again).

I've seen him play in a few CHL games and some international games. The whole time I thought, he should already be here. But it is what it is.
This team has only really been a good center away from being a real power house team. I think Foudy is that guy. I hope they let him play center while he's up here.

Emergency recall means he can only stay if his London team is not playing a game. He will be reassigned to London after tonight's game because of this rule.

yeah but can he win a faceoff? recent game had Dubois losing all 5 faceoffs in the 1st period...and he didn't take another one for the rest of the game, Foligno took them instead.

He played well enough that torts said he was going to play in overtime vs Tampa if that didn’t score in the first shift of overtime... kids going to be good. Makes you think that Columbus doesn’t really need to go get a 2nd line center unless it’s a rental or someone with a short contract, if it’s the right price anyways.

I watched him play tonight. His a little raw on the edges but the only way he's going to polish at this rate is to see some ice time.
He's got to gain some weight so he can be harder on the puck. Other than that, I think he's good to go. He should really skip going back to the CHL and go hit the gym and put on 10-15lbs of weight before next year.
