I like your proposals, but given how much NSH is retaining in EDM deal I think the 4ths should be conditional (can become 3rds, if Smith or Granlund re-sign, or EDM makes it to the conference finals).

Fair point, I just don't know if asking for those two prospects for UFAs was going to be too much. I'm definitely open to that (why wouldn't I be haha)

You could get probably get 1st instead of a 2nd from Isles in that deal.

I'm not sure any team would give up a 1st for bonino but I would gladly take it! Maybe another 2nd or a 3rd instead of the 4th? Or conditional on bonino's points in the playoffs or whether NYI make it past a round or two?

Sorry, I dont know what I was looking at, eyes were playing tricks on me. I thought Granlund was in that deal. My mistake. However the Isles are desperate for a top 6 Wing/Center that why I said that.

Yeah maybe on conditions you could get a 1st out of it. I think you would just base it off a certain round they reach. Overall I like the ideas!

If they aren't in the same draft, I guess. But I'd want more retained for Bonino. I think 2nd and 4th and the retained salary already is more than fair.
