You think it is that much of a steal?!

1st rounder that could become a really good second-liner/first liner, a really good defensive prospect who could peak as 2 d-man and at minimum a 4 and a 3/4C who's still really young and could improve.

I understand why Dumba could probably get more with his term, age and ability but I do think it is a good offer. What do you think could be added then?

Kylington + B or B+ prospect (centre or wing) and the 1st. The key is the B+ prospect, idk much about Calgary prospects and how good they are

Get rid of Kylington and Jankowski and add Lindholm or Andersson.

lol, that trade would be Lindholm for Dumba + a middle six forward or 2nd/1st round pick
Your not going to get Andersson for anything.

How about Emillio Petterson or Phillips. Phillips will likely be in NHL next year for the Wild if he got traded there as a bottom six forward who could grow into a second line role. Pettersson could also be a 2nd liner but is further away than Phillips.
1st, Kyl, Phillips, Janko for Dumba

Matthew Phillips. He plays for Stockton. Could be a bottom six forward next year with potential to become a really good second liner.

He’s smaller than my 13 year old son...no thanks. Here’s the deal - you can pile average players and fringe NHLers as high as you want, but you will never get a very good player for them...ever!

Guerin is asking for 1C or a 2C plus, @MNBassman has the only trade that satisfies that

In case you haven't realized yet, no one cares if you're 6 foot or not anymore. There was a 99 point scorer last year who looks like he's 13 years old. If you want to pass up on very skilled players cause they're small than I don't know what to say.

Lindholm and any comparable player is worth more than Dumba. Nobody is trading that for Dumba. I'd consider trading Backlund though but Kylington and/or the 1st would have to change.

Ok then. Can I ask why? Great middle six defensive center who puts up 45 points per year, brings leadership and is on a reasonable contract.
