Yup I’d be pissed.

I’d love to add Crouse and Toffoli though.

Let's not beat around the bush here. As a Leafs' fan, I am already incredibly worried with the season Boston is having. Crossing my fingers that your Arizona deal never comes to fruition grin

True ^ ^ ^

Tofolli deal isnt bad! But yeah the hall deal seems like too much. Considering that:
Debrusk >>> Bahl
Hienen >> Schnarr
Zboril = Merekly
bruins 1st < zona 1st
2nd > 3rd

I get that Crouse is part of it too, but still seems like an overpay at this point.

Also bruins probably arent giving up debrusk considering how much he is scoring and how well he is playing right now

Naah. Not even close. Pissing people off is trading McAvoy for Rakell even up.

Gotta get Sweeney on the sauce hardddddd some night...

It's terrifying that the Bruins roster is as good as it is, and they're not even in horrible cap trouble. Really reminds me of our beloved Ducks of yesteryear, when they were a consistent contender and drafted reasonably well, all while maintaining cap flexibility. Love me some Ryan Kesler, but that signing, and the Eaves trade that netted the Stars a 1st round pick for a guy who was a having a career year, but had a previous high of 20 goals (11 or 12 years prior) really was grasping to try to stay relevant.

I just don’t want to pay that big of a cost for 2 months of a player wether it’s fair value or not. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I know the premise is he signs for cheap. Still figure if that happens you are going to lose Krug as well. Just not worth it. Hall has not been a locker room favorite wherever he has been either.

I am convinced that as a general rule, one should never pay a first-round pick for a rental unless it's Connor ####ing McDavid. Still, it wasn't as bad a trade as the all-time-intergalactic-fail of 14 games of Andrej Sekera for the Los Angeles first-round pick a few years ago.

True, or the 2nd and 3rd for a period of Zuccarello in Dallas last year flushed cheeks

Hot take alert: I just don’t think Taylor Hall is that good. I think he’s really good at scoring goals that make you say, “woah, that guy is really good,” but he’s just not consistent enough for me. He had one lights out season. Honestly, given that the bruins system is notoriously hard to adapt to, I’m not sure I see Hall over Debrusk as a huge upgrade. We’ve seen a lot of good wingers come to boston, and fail.
