If ottawa had 2 and 5 i think they might think about it. If you believe byfield is closer to laf than most people then yeah id do it. Im not high on velano as most people. I think hes more 3rd line center than 2nd line center. So if it was laf and velano for byfield and stutz or raymond then yeah

Sens aren't going to do this. They could draft an "RHD version of Bowen Byram" to pair up w/ Chabot and a potential #1 center (Stutzle/Rossi/Byfield). They'll only draft Lafreniere if they win the lottery.

Detroit says no, laf is compared to Patrick Kane. Can't trade Kane for 2 prospects and include veleno. Would have to be first 2 picks and then Ottawa add more.

I agree with oldnyifan 3+5+tkachuk to even get the conversation started

Hell no...veleno stays & Detroit might even say no to a 1st oa for both sens picks even if both in top 5 ..lafreniere is that much better than the rest ..according to pundits..if sens picks turn into 2 & 3 oa ..maybe wings do trade 1st oa..but forget about Joey v
