If I was Dorion, I would ask for McMichael. He would be the player I would covet from the Caps and aggressively complete a deal. Worst case scenario, Washington say no, and they go shopping for another young defenceman.

Demelo isn’t an elite player and wouldn’t cost a team an A+ prospect of his caliber. He’s worth maybe a 2nd and an okay prospect. People are glorifying players and it’s just laughable. Demelo is this years Jensen capitals got Jensen for a 2nd and a very average d prospect who’s is nhl ready.

“What it would take” a 2019 1st round pick that is easily the best player coming out of juniors this year. Again it’s just such an overpayment that it’s laughable.
