Change the condition on the Toffoli trade to the 2nd upgrades to a 2021 1st and the Kings might do it.

I agree, but I think the Jets would accept if a) a Harmonic extension was already agree upon, AND was below the AAV the Jets would need to pay in free agency, and b) that pick is included in the deal with no conditions.

My point was more so that it is known that the Jets are targeting Defensemen with term, and are not really interested in the rental market this year. So why give up an asset for a player they can target on July 1 without major benefit? Roslovic would be much better traded for a player with term or team control, especially because Winnipeg has trouble attracting free agents and also has bee unable to re-sign any of their rentals recently.
