Leafs certainly have more than their share of injuries this year. IMO, the Leafs shouldn't be making any short term fixes. This season is "lost" even if they make it to the playoffs. Let's see how Timashov, or Korshov, Bracco or whoever can step in and be NHL good in the next couple of months.
Leafs seem to going with Sandin and Liljegren on defence this year....two guys they will need long term.

I'd love to see Bracco get a look at left wing with the Marlies. Leafs are packed on the right side but might have more movement on the left. If he doesn't start playing better in all three zones though, he's never going to get a shot. Keep playing Sandin-Liljegren (especially if you're going to resign Jake Muzzin) and groom them for the 3rd pair next season. Hell they're probably already better then a Marincin-Ceci pairing.

No way Montreal makes that trade and no way Toronto wants the trade with the Devils. Simmonds has been quite rough this year.
